Description

Bang Bang Chicken is a delightful dish with a crispy coating and a spicy-sweet sauce that will impress everyone at the table.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb chicken tenderloins
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1 cup flour
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • Vegetable oil for frying
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tbsp sriracha
  • 2 tbsp lime juice

Instructions

  1. Preheat oil in a deep fryer or a large pot.
  2. Season the chicken tenderloins with salt and pepper.
  3. Prepare three separate bowls: one with flour, another with beaten eggs, and the last one with panko breadcrumbs.
  4. Dredge each chicken tenderloin in flour, dip in eggs, then coat with panko breadcrumbs.
  5. Fry the chicken in the hot oil until golden brown and cooked through, about 5-6 minutes.
  6. Mix together the mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, and lime juice to create your sauce.
  7. Drizzle the sauce over the fried chicken or serve it on the side. Enjoy!

Notes

Ensure the oil is hot enough before adding the chicken to prevent sogginess. Experiment with sauce ingredients to tailor the spice level.
