- 4 ripe but firm pears, halved and cored
- 1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese
- 1/4 cup dried cranberries, chopped
- 3 tbsp honey
- 2 tbsp chopped walnuts or pecans
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- Fresh thyme leaves for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking dish or sheet pan with parchment paper.
- Slice the pears in half lengthwise and carefully scoop out the cores to create a small well in the center.
- Arrange the pear halves cut-side up in the baking dish. Drizzle the pears lightly with olive oil and honey.
- Fill each pear half with crumbled feta cheese and chopped dried cranberries.
- Sprinkle with walnuts or pecans, cinnamon, and black pepper.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes, until the pears are tender and lightly caramelized around the edges.
- Remove from the oven and drizzle with extra warm honey while still hot.
- Garnish with fresh thyme leaves for an elegant finish.
Notes
Use ripe but firm pears for the best texture. Feel free to experiment with different nuts or spices.
