Description

A comforting casserole that combines the flavors of lasagna and bacon cheeseburgers, perfect for family gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 2 lbs lean ground beef
  • 1 medium yellow onion, diced
  • 16 oz lasagna noodles
  • 4 cups marinara sauce
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 8 slices of bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the ground beef and diced onion in a large skillet over medium heat until browned; season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  3. Cook the lasagna noodles according to package instructions and drain.
  4. Spread marinara sauce in a large sheet pan, followed by noodles, half of the beef mixture, half of the bacon, and half of both cheeses.
  5. Repeat the layers and finish with marinara sauce and remaining cheese.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden.
  7. Garnish with parsley before serving.

Notes

For added creaminess, mix in sour cream or cream cheese. For a kick, add jalapeños to the beef mixture.
