- 2 lbs lean ground beef
- 1 medium yellow onion, diced
- 16 oz lasagna noodles
- 4 cups marinara sauce
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 8 slices of bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook the ground beef and diced onion in a large skillet over medium heat until browned; season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
- Cook the lasagna noodles according to package instructions and drain.
- Spread marinara sauce in a large sheet pan, followed by noodles, half of the beef mixture, half of the bacon, and half of both cheeses.
- Repeat the layers and finish with marinara sauce and remaining cheese.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden.
- Garnish with parsley before serving.
Notes
For added creaminess, mix in sour cream or cream cheese. For a kick, add jalapeños to the beef mixture.
