Ingredients

  • 10 corn husks (soaked in warm water)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the corn husks by soaking them in warm water to soften.
  2. Mix masa harina, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
  3. Add olive oil and chicken broth, then stir until a dough forms.
  4. Spread a portion of the masa dough onto the corn husk.
  5. Add a spoonful of shredded chicken and spices into the center.
  6. Fold the husk and masa over the filling, then tuck the ends.
  7. Steam the tamales upright in a steamer for about 1 hour.
  8. Allow to cool slightly before serving and enjoy!
