Description

A delightful twist on classic banana bread that combines bananas with chocolate, almonds, and coconut for a moist and flavorful loaf.


Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup shredded coconut
  • 1/2 cup chopped almonds

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5 inch loaf pan.
  2. Mash the bananas with a fork until smooth.
  3. Stir the melted butter into the mashed bananas.
  4. Mix in the sugar, egg, and vanilla extract.
  5. Sprinkle the baking soda and salt over the mixture and mix in.
  6. Add the flour and stir until just combined. Do not overmix.
  7. Fold in the chocolate chips, shredded coconut, and chopped almonds.
  8. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
  9. Bake for 60-65 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  10. Let cool in the pan for about 10 minutes, then remove from the pan and let cool completely on a wire rack.
