Almond Croissant Recipe: A Guide to Baking Perfection

These easy almond croissants are perfect for a sweet breakfast or indulgent dessert. Made with flaky croissants and a rich almond cream filling, they’re a bakery favorite you can make at home!

 


Ingredients

  • 4 day-old croissants
  • 1/2 cup almond flour
  • 1/4 cup butter (softened)
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp almond extract
  • 1/4 cup slivered almonds
  • Powdered sugar (for dusting)

 


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix almond flour, butter, sugar, egg, vanilla extract, and almond extract until smooth to create the almond cream.
  3. Slice the croissants in half horizontally and spread almond cream inside each.
  4. Top each croissant with more almond cream and sprinkle slivered almonds on top.
  5. Bake for 15-20 minutes, until golden brown and crispy.
  6. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
